Watch:
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health hereby officially announces the postponement of the Data Capturer assessment that was scheduled for today, 20 November 2025, at 10h00.
The assessment was interrupted due to significant technical glitches on our online platform.
These glitches were a direct result of the system being overwhelmed by an unprecedented volume of access attempts.
This included attempts from individuals who were not eligible for the position, which contributed to the system’s instability.
In the interest of fairness and to ensure a smooth and equitable process for all legitimate candidates, the Department has taken the decision to postpone the assessment.
We wish to reassure all qualifying candidates that, fortunately, no one was able to access or commence the test due to the system failure.
Therefore, all candidates will be starting on an equal and fair footing when the assessment is written on the new date.
The assessment has been rescheduled as follows:
· New Date: Tuesday, 25 November 2025
· Time: 10h00
All pre-qualified and eligible candidates will receive a new, unique assessment link via SMS. The Department will distribute these new links over the weekend.
It is imperative that this new link is NOT shared with anyone. Sharing of links compromises the integrity of the recruitment process and may lead to the disqualification of the candidate to whom the link was assigned.
The Department profusely apologizes for any inconvenience and frustration this postponement may have caused. We remain committed to a transparent and fair recruitment process for all.
