Nomvula Zulu a multi-talented artist from Pietermaritzburg, a City of Flowers. She is ready to grace Durbanites with her talent. Nomvula is a real deal when it comes to art. She sleep, eat and breath art. Her mind, voice and here hands are artistically made if there’s is such.
Nomvula is the Founder of Icikwa Designs, she celebrates African creativity through music, storytelling, writing, and craft. Her work appears in New Coin Poetry Anthology (2024), and her short story No Shame in Living was among the Top 5 at Time of the Writer (2023). She has performed in productions such as Feel Me: Voices, Black Bodies Echo, and Coming of the Strange Ones. Her sound blends indigenous instruments with modern rhythms, soulful, spiritual, and rooted in African storytelling.
